Before a heavy transport project can be carried out, various factors need to be carefully planned. These include selecting the right transport equipment, obtaining any required permits and coordinating the entire transport process.
The required planning time depends on the scope of the project and our current capacity. Smaller transports can often be arranged at short notice, whereas heavy and oversized transports require more preparation time due to the necessary permits and detailed planning involved.
Permits are required whenever legal weight or dimension limits are exceeded and the transport is classified as an oversized or heavy transport. We can transport individual loads of up to 42 tonnes. For widths of up to 3 metres, we have a standing permit in place. We also take care of organising any additional permits and traffic management measures required for your transport project.

Machinery and other goods can be stored for extended periods or even on an open-ended basis. The storage duration is fully flexible and can be tailored to your individual requirements.
Yes. After prior coordination, we prepare the onward transport and ensure that your goods can be delivered to the required destination on schedule.
Intermediate storage provides flexibility when goods cannot yet be delivered to their intended location. This may be the case, for example, when a new machine has already arrived, but the production area still needs to be prepared before installation. We offer various storage solutions for different requirements, from storage areas for heavy machinery to options for oversized goods and easily accessible storage areas.

Machinery Relocations FAQs
Yes. Machinery relocations can be planned in a way that allows individual machines to be relocated while the rest of the production continues. In many cases, the machine is already shut down by the customer the day before. The following morning, we carry out the transport and position the machine at its new location. Depending on the scope of work and the transport distance, the machine can often be put back into operation on the same day.
Yes. In addition to complete machinery relocations, we also handle the relocation of individual machines within production halls or across the company premises. We ensure safe internal transport and precise positioning at its new position.
General Questions
Yes. Your machinery and equipment are insured during transport. If you would like further information about the applicable insurance coverage, we will be happy to provide it.
No. Additional packaging or pallets are generally not required. Our specialised vehicles allow us to transport machines directly without the need for additional packaging materials, simplifying the process and reducing resource consumption.
