The story of our company began in the post-war period, when the young Frieder Volk carried out agricultural work on a contract basis and purchased his first tractor.

First Truck and New Transport Contracts <\/h4>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The company caught the attention of Deutsche Bundesbahn, Germany\u2019s national railway, which commissioned Frieder Volk to carry out transport services on its behalf.\ufeff
The capacity of two tractors was no longer sufficient, so the company ordered its first truck.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The loads included oxygen cylinders as well as an increasing number of knitting machines from the local textile machinery industry.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Innovation in Knitting Machine Transport<\/h4>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

While delivering oxygen cylinders to T\u00fcbingen, Frieder Volk came across a discarded pallet truck. He saw an opportunity to use the equipment to transport knitting machines \u2013 an idea that marked a major turning point for the company.
Using the pallet truck significantly simplified the transport process. What had previously been a labor-intensive and time-consuming operation became more efficient and less disruptive to ongoing production.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
